Join Vacatia and Create Memorable Group and Event Experiences

Location: Las Vegas, On-site

Vacatia is an innovative hospitality company reinventing the vacation rental and ownership experience across discovery, booking, and stay. We’re building the next generation of travel lifestyle products, blending technology, hospitality, and thoughtful service to create smarter, more connected experiences for guests, owners, members, and partners.

We’re looking for a motivated and highly organized Group Sales & Events Specialist to support business development, group sales, client coordination, meetings, and events at one of our managed resort properties. This role will develop new business opportunities, manage client relationships, coordinate group reservations, and partner with property teams to ensure every event and group experience is executed successfully.

If you enjoy building relationships, generating new business, and bringing events to life in a fast-paced hospitality environment, this is an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on both revenue and the guest experience.

Why You’ll Love Working at Vacatia

  • Create Memorable Experiences: Help groups, meeting planners, and event clients bring their vision to life from initial inquiry through final execution.
  • Drive Meaningful Growth: Generate new corporate, leisure, group, meeting, catering, and event business for the property.
  • Collaborate Across Hospitality: Partner with Sales, Revenue Management, Reservations, Operations, Food and Beverage, Catering, Accounting, and outside vendors.
  • Own the Client Journey: Serve as a trusted point of contact while managing proposals, contracts, reservations, event details, and follow-up.
  • Grow Your Career: Expand your experience across hotel sales, business development, group coordination, catering, and event operations.

Your Impact

  • Proactively research and solicit new corporate, leisure, group, meeting, catering, and event opportunities through outbound calls, networking, referrals, and community outreach.
  • Manage sales inquiries, proposals, contracts, client records, group files, payment schedules, rooming lists, booking links, and other required documentation.
  • Coordinate group reservations, site inspections, property tours, meetings, and events while ensuring client requirements are accurately communicated across departments.
  • Partner with property operations, Reservations, Revenue Management, Food and Beverage, Catering, and vendors to deliver seamless group and event experiences.
  • Build lasting client relationships, identify upselling opportunities, and generate repeat and referral business while supporting property revenue and profitability goals.

What You Bring

  • Two or more years of experience in hospitality, hotel or resort sales, catering, events, restaurants, group coordination, or a related field.
  • Strong sales, prospecting, customer-service, and relationship-building skills, including confidence conducting outbound calls and soliciting new business.
  • Excellent organization and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple clients, deadlines, groups, meetings, and events simultaneously.
  • Professional written and verbal communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with clients, property teams, leaders, vendors, and business partners.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and familiarity with hotel property-management, CRM, sales, catering, or reservation systems; schedule flexibility to support evenings, weekends, holidays, and events is required.
  • A bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field is preferred. Relevant hospitality, sales, or event experience may be considered in place of a degree.
